Prolific Educational Institutions of India, DAV heralded a new era at Jamui in March, 2002. As DAV Jamui was started to educate children from L.K.G. to Std. VI, the school is now running with dynamic vibrancy up Std. X and Senior Secondary are lightly to be started soon after getting permission from CBSE Delhi. This institution is very much indebted to our Hon’bl Vice President of CMC, Delhi cum Regional Director of Patna Zone Late N. D. Grover and Mr. S.K. Jha for their active role in it’s establishment. The School is having a magnificent building, a play ground and well equipped Laboratory and a library with good number of books on varied subjects and an activity room. The School is running in a new three storey building with a big play ground and all facilities for students. The School is well equipped with advanced modern audio-visual aids like video recording system and TV.
Assembly and Moral Education
To imbibe the moral value in the students each working day starts with morning assembly through recitation of vedic mantra and devotional songs. Stress is led on the universal aspect and eternal value of Indian culture. Students get introduce to rich spiritual heritage of Indian philosophy which transcends the narrow limit of caste, colour, language and creed. Short talks are given by students and by the Principal on a variety of subjects, good manners, hygienic habits and important events of day to day life, besides reference from lives of great man. Every morning assembly disperses after singing national anthem and patriotic song. Hawan is performed on every Saturday. Dharma Shiksha books are prescribed to educate the students in moral values. Vedic Initiation camp are held every year.
